These simple tips will help get the best photography for your organisation.

Have the end in mind. What will you be using the photographs for? National magazine article, internal newsletter, annual report, website profiles etc

Do you require individual or group photographs?

What style do you have in mind? Think about how you want your organization to be represented.  Do your research. What does your competition look like, take a look at our web gallery, review magazines and the web for ideas – and, we will also provide you with advice.

What background would you like? The background will help brand your organization – we can use anywhere including your office, painted backgrounds or significant sites associated with your organization (see our web gallery for examples).

LOOKING YOUR BEST

 What to wear

Ask people to dress as though they are representing the company and giving a talk to a large group of potential clients. Dressing so the clothes don't distract and communicate your company's values. Simple dark colours work best.If you are planning to have your people photographed in their business shirts, have them bring a freshly ironed shirt for the shoot.

Hair & Makeup

Hair and makeup can be arranged for a reasonable hourly rate if requested.

LOGISTICS

Space Required

The ideal space to shoot is cleared meeting rooms or board rooms for space and privacy. 5x4 metres is an ideal minimum space for head and shoulders portraits, and we can make any space you have work.

Scheduling your shoot

Depending on the style, here is the suggested scheduling of a head and shoulders shoot.

Setup - 40min

Hair & Makeup(if required) - 15min/person

Portrait Photography - individual 5 min/person

Groups of 5-10 - 10min

Groups of 10+ - 15min

Hair & Makeup removal (if required) - 5min/person

Pack Up 30min

DELIVERY

Our standard practice is to upload a web gallery as soon as possible after the shoot, you make your selections, then we optimise and upload your selected master files for fast access.

We can of course accommodate any special requests you have with delivery.
